Compressed Himalayan Salt Lick Block for Cattle & Horses — Single Block
Description
Himalayan Salt Licks for Livestock — Natural Rocks & Compressed Blocks
Unrefined rock salt straight from the Khewra mine, offered free-choice to cattle, horses, goats, sheep, and other livestock. Along with sodium chloride, Himalayan salt carries naturally occurring trace minerals including iron, magnesium, potassium, calcium, and zinc — the iron content is what gives it its pink color.
Natural rocks are hand-selected in their raw form, with irregular shape and color and a slower, more deliberate lick surface. Available drilled for rope hanging.
Compressed blocks are pressed to a uniform shape and density — easier to store and stack.
Feeding notes: Offer free-choice with constant access to fresh, clean water. Keep licks off wet ground and out of standing water; a holder, tray, or covered position will make them last considerably longer. This is a salt and trace mineral supplement, not a complete mineral program — talk to your vet or nutritionist about balancing it with the rest of your ration.
Care & Storage
- Keep in a clean area protected from excessive rain and moisture when possible.
- Hang securely or place in a suitable salt lick holder.
- Check regularly for cracks, excessive wear, or contamination.
- Replace when the block becomes too small or damaged.
- Always provide livestock with fresh drinking water.
