Pink & Light Himalayan Salt Tiles and Bricks

Build a wall, a backlit feature, or a full salt room from solid mined halite. Each tile and brick is cut from natural rock, then finished flat for clean, consistent installation.

Two natural shades. Pink tiles carry the warm amber-to-rose tones Himalayan salt is known for. Light tiles are paler and more translucent — but they are not white. They range through cream, blush, pale gold, honey, and grey, with veining and mineral banding running through every piece. That translucency is why light tiles glow brightest when backlit.

No two are the same. Color, veining, density, and translucency shift within a single seam of the mine, so tiles vary from one piece to the next and from batch to batch. A finished wall reads as a natural surface with depth and movement, not a uniform panel. Expect variation across your order — it's the material, not a defect. If you need a close color match, order your full quantity at once.

Uses: Accent and feature walls, backlit panels, halotherapy and salt rooms, dry saunas, spas, headboards, bar fronts, and niche lighting.

Notes: Install with a salt-based adhesive or mortar and low-heat LED lighting. Keep installations dry — salt and steam don't mix. Surfaces may develop a fine crystalline bloom in humid conditions; brush it off with a dry cloth.

Care

Himalayan salt is a natural mineral. Kept dry, it lasts for years.

The essentials

  • Dust with a dry microfiber cloth — that's all most pieces need.
  • Never rinse, soak, or wash. Water dissolves and pits the surface.
  • No soap or chemical cleaners.
  • Handle gently; salt chips easily. Lift lamps by the base, not the cord.
  • Set it on a tray or coaster, never bare wood or fabric.

If it needs more than dusting

Wipe with a barely damp cloth, then dry immediately. Turn lamps on afterward to draw out the moisture.

Humidity

Salt absorbs moisture above roughly 60% indoor humidity. In humid or coastal climates, keep lamps lit most of the day — the bulb's warmth keeps them dry — and run A/C or a dehumidifier. Dry climates need nothing but regular dusting. For long damp seasons, seal unused pieces in a bag with a desiccant packet.

Where to keep it

Best in bedrooms, living rooms, offices, and dry saunas. Fine in kitchens if away from the sink and stove. Avoid bathrooms, steam rooms, damp basements, and outdoors — steam, rain, and dew break salt down fast.

By product

  • Lamps & candle holders: Use the recommended bulb; the heat matters. Let candle holders cool before handling, and peel off cooled wax rather than washing it.
  • Cooking blocks: Heat gradually to avoid cracking. Cool fully before cleaning, scrape dry, wipe, and dry thoroughly. Never expose a hot block to water.
  • Tiles & panels: Dry cloth or a vacuum brush on low.
  • Loose & bath salt: Airtight container, dry scoop. Clumping is normal.

Normal vs. not

Color variation, veining, and small pits are natural. Beading or a white film means the room is too humid — wipe dry, leave the lamp on, and improve airflow.

Safety

Keep away from pets; licking salt can make dogs and cats seriously ill.
